INTIMATE OXFORDSHIRE WEDDING
I don’t think I have been more excited about shooting a wedding than I was for this one! Suzanna and Phil’s wedding was on the 4th July and due to Covid-19 it was the first wedding back since 17th March!!! I absolutely love what I do for a living, and for me photographing weddings is the best job on the planet when things are going well!! But when things are not going well and you are told that you can longer photograph weddings because they aren’t allowed to go ahead then that REALLY sucks big time! But of course, it was for good reason and peoples safety is paramount. So when Suzanna and Phil asked me to photograph their wedding ceremony on the 4th July I was excited beyond belief - and I will be shooting their main event next year too!
Their wedding ceremony took place at a church very local to me - St Mary’s, Buckland. Followed by a small gathering of family and close friends back at the family home. It was a truly special wedding for many reasons and although Suzanna and Phil booked me for 2 hours I ended up staying for 4 hours. I really have missed shooting weddings!! Will there ever be another ‘normal’ wedding, probably not for a while. But if they all end like Suzanna and Phil's, then quite honestly I won’t be disappointed!
It was a special day and I look forward to the main party in 2021!
